GMAT 780, Undergraduate GPA3.4, Guaduate GPA3.6 top of class, WE2.8 Chinese lawyer, applying for Wharton and Columbia JD/ MBA. 7 months WE gap. Could you please evaluate my chance?

Based on these few details, I would say you are a good candidate on paper. Make sure you explain the work gap and you should know that often, dual degree applicants can find an edge especially if you are a particualrly strong candidate in one or both areas.
