Nationality - Indian
GMAT score - 690 (Q-47, V-38)
9 years of experience in IT
Xth - 84%
XIIth - 85.2%
B.Tech - 74.2%

I have 9 years of experience in field of IT which includes working with Tech Mahindra, MphasiS and Infosys. My last position held in Infosys was Project Manager and for past 2-3 years my role has been project/team lead where I have led teams in various projects and technologies. Prior to that, I was into software design and development.

I have travelled to UK, Qatar and Japan on short stints. Besides this, I have also participated in two workshops organized by BT in UK in which I was part of the winning team in the competition (on both times). During my B.Tech. I held position of President of Technocrats club and arranged for a Technical Fest in the college.

My career goal is to get into consulting field and that is why I want to pursue MBA. I'm targeting top B-schools in India for any 1-year Exec MBA program.

Also, let me know what other options can I go for outside India?

Thanks,
KS

Hey there KT,
I think that for EMBA programs, you can apply with your GMAT. My big question to you would be is: are you being sponsored? Because lots of EMBA folks are getting sponsorships, and company support can look VERY good (especially in India for Indian companies).

You have a lot of EMBA programs out there, and my suggestion would be to go to the best one you can get into (sooooo, Kellogg, Wharton, Booth Columbia).

A 690 might be a weeee bit on the low side, although like i wrote, EMBAs are far less strict about this than regular 2-year programs, but they will want to see some serious leadership in your profile and essays.
