1) 2 years at a Vault 20 law firm doing Healthcare transactional and M&A work

2) GMAT (est.) 720 - 750 [V44/45, need to wrok on Q]

3) B.A.: 3.9 GPA, Liberal Arts at an unknown east coast school (lots of awards and extracurriculares) and JD: Top 10 law school grad (top 30% of class) + 3 Bschool classes (all As) and involvement with Bschool extracurriculares (I will apply to this school).

4) Lead various clubs, debated, won a national award for intercollegiate radio.

5) JD

6) HBS, Booth, Wharton, Kellogg, Sloan, Columbia and Tuck.

7) I plan to apply in R1 2014-2015.

8) I want to transition into MBB consulting.

You have a great background, and you will definitely get into the school of your choice with a gmat score of 750+.

The key will be casting your background and story in a compelling way, and one which helps you stand out amongst all the other folks with a good profile and similar background. Law is a unique perspective which you should highlight--particularly in the sense of how it has prepared you for McKinsey or Bain. You definitely have the credentials, but you will need to bring them to life given your goal to go to what essentially are the most competitive business schools in the world. I think with a well articulated vision and engaging story you definitely have a shot most likely at more than one school on your list, but remember there are others who look a lot like you on paper--make sure you jump off the page.
