There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
Applying in R3 with a GMAT score of 620 will make it very difficult for you to get into any top 25 business schools. Your undergraduate GPA and work experience are good enough to give you a shot at top 25 programs, but again R3 is very competetive and your academics are not strong enough to guarantee you a chance at these programs. The best thing for you would start working on your application and apply in R1 for the Fall 2015 intake. Considering the fact that you have Deloitte and Goldman Sachs on your resume, writing good essays and creating a stellar application can give you a decent shot at some top 20 programs. GMAT: yet to take (what score should I target?) UG score: 69% from a good college in India Background: Mechanical Engineering Work ex: management profile with DHL (logistics) (6 months to present). Involved in various strategic projects with senior members of the company. Actively involved in community work and sports.
I will be applying for fall 2016, next year. Is 2 years work ex enough? Also please help identify the right schools for me.
