Hi! Wondering if I could get some much-needed perspective on where I stand for hopefully making my mark on this year's application cycle.
I'm 24, M, born/raised in Chicago IL, Asian-american.
Currently been working at a major oil company for 2.5 years (will be 3.5 by the time most programs actually begin). I was in a 2 year rotational program that took me through different parts of the downstream technology refining & marketing business, working with automotive/aviation lubricants, supporting quality at refineries, and formulating new product technology. Since then, I've been working in product regulation & compliance, investigating and remediating quality incidents throughout the supply chain (lots of root cause analyses). All engineering oriented but with significant opportunities to work with other business-facing parts of the organization.Throughout my career so far I have had plenty of leadership experiences to discuss, particularly since my rotational program was a leadership development role.
I want an MBA in order to gain more knowledge and context about product development throughout the whole pipeline, outside of the bubble of technology (aka marketing, procurement, sales, etc.) and hopefully apply that knowledge to move into that kind of technology-adjacent, but business-dealing space.
College Education- University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, BS in Chemical Engineering. 3.33 GPA
GMAT (taken 2015)- 48 Q (73%), 42 V (96%, 8 on IR (730 score- 96%)
GRE- (taken 2012)- 167V (97%), 166Q (92%) Analytical Writing 5.0 (93%)
Extracurriculars- Tutoring of Chicago kids through local program, Organizing Lead for Asian American heritage events at work, did management consulting through student organization throughout college.
My dream program would be MMM at Kellogg, but I'm not sure if it's feasible. In general I want to get into a top ~15 school, and if I don't I would rather just wait till the future to apply again.

I have concerns about my GMAT, since the overall score is high but quantitative is low (those damn sufficiency questions!), should I submit both the GRE and the GMAT, or just the GRE, or just the GMAT? I know these schools say that GRE vs. GMAT doesn't matter but I can't shake the feeling that they really do care, if only for the fact that it shows that your career goals haven't always been so focused. There's also the fact that my engineering background and high IR score must show that I am more than capable at the quantitative work, no?
Thoughts? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
THANKS!
