Would like some advice on my business school profile:
Background:
Work experience: I'm based in NYC. Currently in Consumer Products finance as an analyst, was formerly a Finance Coordinator and promoted after 2.5 years, total of 4 years at current company. Previously, was a paralegal at a big litigation firm for 1.5 years before transitioning to finance.
Extra curricular: mentoring underprivileged kids, volunteering at an animal shelter, New York Restoration Project (plants trees)
Undergrad school/major: Bucknell - double major in Economics and Psychology,
Other education/coursework: licensed Real Estate Sales Person
Race/nationality: Chinese
Sex: Female
Stats
Undergrad GPA: major GPAs are 3.67, overall GPA: 3.59
MBA Info:
I've been thinking about business school for a while now but only really started to take steps to start prepping recently. I am currently in Consumer Products in the Finance Department, but want to transition into Real Estate. I thought about a MS in Real Estate Finance but want to get an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate to have more options. Ultimate goal is to have my own business offering real estate, renovation, and design services.
Looking at Part-Time programs -> Stern, UCLA Anderson Flex MBA, Booth Weekend MBA, and Northwestern JD/MBA program (only Full-Time Program I'm considering at this point).
Have yet to take GMATS. If it wasn't for the Northwestern Program I would most likely take the GREs instead since I find the Quant in GMAT to be challenging.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
