Hi Paul:

I am looking at different schools and need some guidance based on my qualifications.

Based on my qualifications, do you think I have a chance at getting accepted into one of the following schools: Harvard, Wharton, Duke, Stanford, or University of Chicago? Chicago is my #1 choice

Thanks

AZCFA,

Apologies for the tardy reply. Lot of really strong material there (a director at 27!), but the devil is in the details, so your pedigree notwithstanding your chances at Stanford and HBS would depend on the quality of your leadership in your extracurriculars/community, etc. But you should be competitive at Chicago and Wharton and a relative shoe-in at Duke.

Hope this helps,

Paul:
If you don't mind - I have one more question: I picked Duke as my safety because I didn't want to "overshoot" my expectations. Would you recommend Yale, Tuck, or Kellogg as other possible safeties? Again, I just don't want to cast my net too shallow.

Kellogg, Yale, and Tuck are not "safety" schools. Cornell, Georgetown, Tepper, etc. are safety schools.
