Hiya,
Thanks for sharing. Your Deloitte experience is likely your strength and sounds solid; a lot of your profile sounds similar to others with your background, so definitely work on coming up with your own unique angle... how do YOU think you are different from anyone else?? Be that professional or personal reasons; life experiences; character traits; strengths and weaknesses, you name it. Spend some time brainstorming in that area!! I would definitely highlight any and all leadership experiences, and work 'against your stereotype' in terms of showing the 'soft' skills like communication skills and teamwork (as your technical, quant and analytical skills are already so evident).
I think your stretch schools may end up being quite a stretch simply due to how competitive the admissions environment is, but doesn't hurt to apply to 1-2 if you want to give it a shot. As for safety schools, or others to consider, with your energy interest, how about Kenan-Flagler; Mendoza; Rice; and GW; maybe could look also at Georgetown, Babson, Boston College? There are of course a ton of considerations when choosing schools; it can be very personal. Finally there's not a lot you can do about lack of international experience, but you can certainly note or bring up your experience dealing with international clients when possible.
Good luck on the process, let us know how else we can help.
