Please help me to shortlist schools by evaluating my profile:

Indian Male
GMAT - 730
GPA - 7.5/10

EDUCATION
1. Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from one of India's Top 10 Engineering Colleges
2. Diploma in French Language ( A2 Proficiency Certification)
3. Six Sigma Green Belt Certified from Indian Statistical Institute ( Best Institute in its domain in India)

WORK EXPERIENCE
- 2 year with the world's largest tyre maker as an operations team leader. Location : France
- 1.3 years in a Greenfield Project for the world's largest tyre maker as a Business Unit Leader, handling 25+ people; manufacturing management. Location : India
- 1 year (as of June 2014) with a Consulting firm as a project manager for the Automotive Team

EXTRA CURRICULAR
- State level Taekwondo participant ( Junior boys;under 15 age group)
- District level football participation, A division football league
- Among top 100 in the entire country- National Mathematics Olympiad
- Social Service : 1 year

Objective :
Consultant in operations ( Supply Chain preferably)

TARGET SCHOOLS
Kellogg
MIT
INSEAD
Ross
HEC
Wharton
Tepper
Carey- ASU ( Could be the dark horse in this race- need help on deciding on this)
( Any advice is necessary and welcome to be able to have the right list)

Queries
1. With my profile, could you suggest me schools ( US or Europe) to which I have a realistic chance of an admit.

Constraints
- I would need scholarship if the overall expenditure goes beyond my budget (Max 60,000 USD)

Any suggestion / insight / advice / help is appreciated!!

Your list is excellent (though I'm not sure about HEC for your area of interest -- it may well fit, I'm just not cognizant of its strength in operations mgt), and you’re a strong candidate overall for operations-focused programs. I’m really impressed by your work experience.

That said, while it makes sense to apply to the more competitive programs such as MIT and Insead, it’s much harder to obtain scholarship funding from them. It’s possible, but I wouldn’t expect it… So I suggest applying to a good number of programs if possible to maximize your chances for funding at a strong program.

Another program to consider is USC Marshall. It’s less competitive than, say, MIT, but more so than Carey. Obviously, Carey’s great strength is in operations mgt, and I believe it makes sense to apply to it as a safety, especially since you’re more likely to gain funding there.
