Hi,

You have good acads, CGPA and GMAT score. Your profile seems to be fine. The only is hitch is your low work experience. However, if you submit strong application essays and work hard on interviews then you will be able to convert your chances from application to admission. With the given information, you may target b-school(s) like: Kellogg, Duke, Ross, McCombs, Kenan-Flagler, Darden, Cornell, Emory, ISB, NUS & Nanyang. You may try your chances in b-school(s) by clicking http://www.apphelp.co.in/Bschool-selection.htm

Let me know in case of further queries. You may PM your details for discussion in length.

Regards
Erina

Hi,

The strong areas in your profile are GMAT score with good academics and extra curriculars. Focus on making it robust with stellar application essays/recommendations. Considering your post MBA career goal to work finance you should target top finance b-schools like Chicago Booth, Wharton, Columbia, LBS, NYU Stern and also choose some safe b-schools like Rochester-Simon, Tulane - Freeman, Rice- Jones, Iowa - Tippie and Rotman as these b-schools come under top 10 finance b-schools globally. Let me know if you have any questions, you can also PM your profile for brief profile evaluation.

Regards,
Neha Singh

You have a good profile. You have a good gmat score.

Though Oracle is a good brand name, you don’t have any promotions or awards in your experience. Is that a right?

Most of your extra curricular activities were at college. Have you done anything after your college?

LSE summer school will help you. If possible, you should also consider doing courses such as CFA if you are interested in finance. Try to attempt Level 1 in December. You can feed that into your 2nd round applications. Most of the finance firms that come to campus look very favorably at such certifications. It also indicates your interest in finance.

If you can write good application essays, there is some chance you can be shortlisted for an interview. If I were you, I would wait for one more year and build my profile for a top school. All my above comments are mostly applicable if you are planning to get into a top school. If you cannot wait and think you are ready to go, here are some good schools that you might want to target:
- Cornell, NYU, Columbia, Fuqua, and LBS.

Speak to few students and alumni of your target schools before you decide.

Good luck!
