Expert's post
Hi there,

Congrats on your 740, that is an excellent score. It sounds like you have some solid experience and a pretty good idea of your goals and career plans. Your international experience is a plus, and any way that you can focus on your leadership, teamwork, and communication/people skills that you've gained in your role will help you to stand out from the large group of Indian IT applicants.

You also have a good list of schools given your goals and interests. Tepper would be another great program in that area, and perhaps Smeal. In terms of schools even higher-ranked, it would probably be pretty tough to get into a top-10 program but if you feel strongly about adding one 'reach' school you could. If you were able to really dig deep into what makes you unique and pull together some top quality application essays, it wouldn't be out of the question at some even more competitive programs, since you do have a great GMAT score. Keep us posted on your decisions!

In terms of career choices, it is more of a personal choice and I'd suggest thinking more about what your longer term career plans are, what you are most passionate about, what you think you'll have the best prospects in after the MBA.

Wishing you good luck!
