Hi All,
Please kindly go through my profile and suggest whether I should retake the GMAT.
GMAT: 490 (Q31, V27) (first attempt)
Age: 24
Experience: 9 months as of date.
I am working as a software engineer at Lockheed Martin for 9 months and looking to go into a project management program. I have a BS in Computer Engineering (GPA: 3.43/4.0), MS in Electrical Engineering (GPA: 3.75/4.0). I had joined directly from campus placements. I have had some good learning opportunities in this job, including presenting to customers, obtaining engineering licenses (CISSP), etc.
Reason for MSPM: Would want to shift from engineering to engineering management positions
Extra curricular: Was active in school and won awards at school level, active in several professional organizations, etc
I only applied to George Washington University because they have a very prestigious and well-recognized program. I am confident that I have strong recommendation letters. Their average GMAT score is 550 and I applied to start Spring 2010. Should I try to retake the test again before admissions closes their deadline?
Thanks for a patient read.
