Of course the obvious weakness is WE. Even with your advantages (interesting background, African American, good education), your key to success will hinge on your ability to convince them you are bringing something of real value into the classroom. Keep in mind you are competing with other AA candidates who have 4 or five years of post UG work experience, so to leapfrog them, you must have a very compelling reason why now is a better time than two years from now after you have a chance to get that work experience. If you can articulate a good reason why, you may just be able to convince them to give you a shot. As a backup plan, however, you should look to get that extra couple of years of experience. Let us know if we can help you position your story for success.

Thank you for the comments. I will be working on my story to say why MBA now and not later. I will also try and put my gmat between the 680-700+ range.

Business schools are basically desperate for more AA applicants, so you should be able to position yourself for success here--your Peace Corps involvement adds almost the same kind of attractiveness as a military background, so I would speak to your experience there and how the takeaways will be valuable contributions to the school. Good luck!
