Personal Info:
Male, 26, Indian, IT :(
GMAT: 760 (49Q, 44V), AWA 4.5
GPA: 3.0-3.3(approx) in Telecommunications Engineering from India
Other: Some professional certifications

Work Experience:
5 years(at matriculation), which would include 3 years of international experience.
Working as a Project Lead heading a team of 10 in a cross cultural/functional environment. Have also been involved in bringing new business for my company and growing the current account.

ECs:
Pretty average. Quite a bit in college. Was captain of the college Hockey team, Mountaineering club(Am an avid trekker and have trekked a couple of glaciers).
Not much since. Have been involved in my company's corporate social responsibility initiative.

Goal After MBA - Management Consulting

Considering that I am from the extra competetive pool of Indians, with a typical Indian IT male profile with a high GMAT, which colleges would be the streches, reaches and sweet pots for me. Also, would my GPA and AWA be a hinderance.

Here are the ones I am considering right now. Please add others that I should consider

1) Chicago
2) Columbia
3) Tuck
4) Duke
5) Ross

Please help. Thanks so much!

The five schools you mentioned are in range for you -- they aren't shoe ins, but you have enough of a shot at all of them that they're worth a try. In your case, since there's a lot of people who will have similar backgrounds as you, it's about getting the adcom to see you as an individual in your applications and interviews.

I think you've got the right idea re: Texas and UNC as schools where you shouldn't have a problem of getting in.
