Dear General Sir!
:)

Alright man, the story is like this: You are gonna have an amazing amazing application! Your GMAT score, personal story and political involvement, makes you a promising candidate for any business school you want to apply to in the world. Just tell them the right stories, make your application sing. Make the readers laugh, cry and want to sing, and you are getting in to business school.

And if you need any help with it all, you just drop us a line, you hear?

Thanks so much for the kind words, I really appreciate it. In your opinion, would a school like HBS ever accept someone with a 2.9 GPA?

They can, and they have. Plus you have a perfect story for it. Just make sure they KNOW your story. You aren;t gonna fly in, maybe, but you do have a chance, so give it your best shot.
