Chances at Booth/Kellogg/Sloan?

I'm looking for some insight on my chances at the above schools. I received my degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City but was a transfer student (moved away to KC after I got married). I have quite a few courses that came from my time at the University of Kansas. My biggest concern is that regardless of my acceptable GPA associate with my degree from UMKC, my transcripts will show three D's and one F from my time at KU. How much will this impact my chances, if I manage 720-750 on the GMAT? Aside from a few poor scores, which I dramatically improved upon, I feel like I can put together a pretty strong profile including management potential, extracurricular activities, etc.

Undergrad: Computer Science 3.4 GPA

Currently employed at a well known company doing applications development (2 yrs experience). During undergraduate studies, I was a corporate intern there, and began working there full time after completing my degree.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

With a 720-750 you can certainly apply anywhere you want, but as for your chances, that's gonna depend a whole lot on other things as well - your leadership, your community service, your promotions etc.

If you wish to apply to top business schools then one of the prerequisites is having significant work experience. Generally candidates have around 4-5 years of full time experience in spite of several term time projects or jobs; so you may be competing with other candidates who have 4-5 years of full time experience and have started significant initiatives at college. Hence, we would advise you to gain some full time work experience before you decide to apply for an MBA
Generally a score above 700 is expected when applying to top schools so your expected score will definitely help you. Hence the quality of your work (what you did there like-what were your achievements, what initiative you took, what changes you drove in your workplace etc), your academics and beyond academics will play an important role in determining your candidature
