BSc in Philosophy & Economics from the London School of Economics, First Class Degree with Honours, UK
Certificate Course in Mandarin Chinese from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China
Graduated from High School with the State Premier's Award for All Round Achievement, Australia
GMAT: 730

Work Experience:
Bank of America Merrill Lynch M&A (1 year) London
EU Delegation to Indonesia (1 month) Jakarta
HSBC M&A(internship, 2 months) London
Bank of America Merrill Lynch (internship, 1 month) Hong Kong
Hedge Fund (internship, 2 month) New York

Political Work Experience:
Member of Parliament, During university, spent 1-2 days per week working in Parliamentary office of a British MP
Parliamentary Campaign, Du.ring university, worked on campaign to win the Northern English seat of Sedgefield. Drafted policy, campaigned, canvassed locals, assisted campaign manager

I'm considering Harvard, Stanford atm. Am I aiming too high? Anywhere I should be concentrating on to improve my application?

Just get your essays right!! ( Dont see much of a problem with so much variety)

Certainly apply to those two if you want, but you should also look at other schools as well no matter how strong your profile - they're difficult to get in no matter what.

As for how to improve your profile - to be honest, I really don't like telling people how to manufacture their resumes or profile for the purposes of b-school - it's ass backwards and frankly the most impressive and accomplished people I've dealt with through this process are those who aren't driven by b-school admissions (i.e. they are accomplishing things for their own sake, rather than for the purposes of manufacturing a profile for b-school). You seem to have an interesting profile, so continue doing what you're doing, working/achieving to your full potential -- in any case, you won't have much time to do anything else anyhow since you're in banking right now.
