Great...I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you to get a big boost on your GMAT! Yes, a 700 would definitely improve your chances. I would still consider NYU Stern a reach though, their average is a bit higher, but I would still give it a shot if that is a dream school for you! Good luck with your retake!

Hello Kate,

I came across a course titled Masters in Management ( MIM ) for people with work experience of 0-3 years.

By the time of enrollment I will be completing 3+ years.

Incase I opt not to retake GMAT, can I apply for MIM course overseas?

If no what should be my game plan?

Or if yes, any universities you could cite for my paltry score of 640?

Hi there, yes I think you could still apply for MIM degrees with your work experience. They are much more popular in Europe in particular. So yes, I think that's a good option that I don't know a ton about average GMATs for those programs. You could also consider more specialized masters programs, like there are some masters in business analytics or some in supply chain management, that might fit well with your experience. If not I am sure there are programs where are a 640 is in range...like Purdue, Wake Forest, etc.
Good luck!
