Profile evaluation for MS Finance/Finance engineering [#permalink] New post 08 Dec 2012, 12:10
Hi,

I would really appreciate if you can assess my profile for MS Fin Programs and also suggest me with some which suit best for me.

Here is my profile:

Indian Male, Age 23

Undergraduate: IIT Guwahati , BTech Mathematics and Computing

CGPA : 8.1/10 (Consistent 9 and 10 grades in finance courses)

GMAT : 760 (Q 50, V44)

Work Ex: 16 months : Software Developer at ADOBE

I want to switch my career from IT to finance..is my profile good enough to be considered by top colleges for MS finance in US?

My passion for finance is driving me to apply for MS...if my profile isn't good enough, is there any other way to "switch career"(like CFA or any other useful course...hard work is not an issue for me )

Thanks in advance.

Maximus,

Have you done anything that reveals your passion or talent for finance?
