I need your advice to decide which school I should apply for EMBA and where I have a fair chance.
Profile: Indian Male , US resident
GMAT700 (Q 49 V 36)
AWA- not expecting more than 4(zero preparation)
IR -4(same as AWA)
Work Experience: 13+ years
Area of Work:
IT Consulting with International exposure (Various Positions in Multiple Industries Semi Conductor,oil and gas)
Education:
Engineering Graduate with 4.0 GPA
Post Graduate from a prestigious university in India ( 96.8 percentile in GATE, one the most competitive exams for Engineers in India)

Extra Curricular:
Created a Social network website currently in beta testing.

Member of a Club devoted to education in India for under privileged

I really want to get into the top 5.. do you suggest I should retake?

Hi rushrush,

Thanks for your post. For your application, nothing about your story makes me think there is any reason why you cannot be admitted, but nothing stands out telling me why you should be admitted. All of the reasons why a top program would admit you are in the details of your work experience, personal experiences, personality, values and overall story.

For EMBA programs, in general more focus is placed on work experience, and less focus is placed on a candidate's GMAT score.
