Hi,

I would greatly appreciate some insight on my profile. PFB my profile.

GMAT-760(Q50,V42),AWA-5,IR-8(92%)
Work Experience-38months(got 3 role-changes in 3Years,got a award for showing Excellence and Commitment in Work,working in banking domain for a TOP 2 IT services and consulting firm in India)
Undergraduate Degree:B.Tech(1st Class Honours,75.08%)
E.C-1)member of Computer Society of India for 1 year in college.
2)Secured Rank in Top 1% in national Level Aptitude Exam.
3)Secured Rank in Top 9% in national Level Aptitude Exam.
4)Organized Inter-college Seminar on "Role of IT in Rural Development".
5)Won Prize in Intra-College Quiz Competition.
6)participated in "SUN" Recognized java course.
7)passed certification of "C" Programming Language.
Community Service-1)Working for the last 1.5 years with a organisation that conducts awareness campaigns and blood check-up camps for Thalassaemia.

Which US colleges can i target and what are my chances in Stern?

You've got good numbers and good experience. but as you know, the indian male IT pool is over represented. So you'll want to make sure that you write good essays and get good letters of recommendation. If you execute your application well, I think you have a good shot at top 10/top 20 programs

Yes, I think your profile is competitive for stern and you should apply with full ammunition. Write great essays get a good TOEFL Score. Stern requires interaction with their faculty and current students , so do that extensively and apply.I would like to suggest following school apart from stern :
1. UC Berkeley
2. Mcdonough school of business, georgetown
3. Vanderbilt
4. Ross ( UCLA )
I think , they have historically and statistically taken more students from IT Background and you have high scope of employment post MBA. Let me know if you have any further questions.

I think that you have a good profile with some great experience. I think that you have a competitive profile for Stern. Best of luck.
