Hey mjr0410,
Thanks for reaching out to me.
So let me get this straight – you into IIT, you're on a GMAT forum, and you just listed your stats. Then you tell me –"I have no idea where my profile fits." Come on man. If you do not know, you should know!
[Goals MIA?] Alas, there is a simple reason is that I cannot tell you what school is right for you. Why? Because I have no idea what you want to be when you grow up. Do you want to be a fireman or do you want to be a policeman? Do want to be strategy consultant within technology? Do you want to move into business development?
My point is that you and I have a fairly good understanding of your background, but I certainly know nothing about your goals. An MBA is not necessarily a one-size-fits-all degree. You have to pick and choose the school that is right for you. I would you a particular program as a conduit or bridge to your short and long-term goals. Some bridges will be better than others. Some of the bridges that are better, will not let you pass. Other bridges that may not be as appropriate, may not be the ones you want to take even if they accept you at the toll booth. Finally, there are bridges that have trolls living underneath them. Those bridges are scary and they're usually nonaccredited.
This is what I can tell you – go look at the career center reports for each school. Look to see what are the feeder industries that's cool – both into and out of the program. Also consider where it is that you want to live after graduation. There may be some so-so schools that are located in great areas for your desired industry.
Respectfully,
Paul Lanzillotti

Right after completing B.Tech, I got placed on campus in an IT Consulting firm.It was a start-up with around 50 employees. I've been with the firm till then as a consultant. My work includes handling projects directly with the client, proposing solutions to their IT problems and then deliver those solutions in strict deadlines.
I've done recruitment for the firm and have given the new employees technical training sessions.
Sports: I've played chess in district and state tournaments. I also won silver for my college in national sports fest.
Community service: I'm doing volunteer work in an NGO for the past 5 months. Its been just on weekends.
I've no idea where my profile fits. I'm looking for Top-30 programs in US and top universities in UK. Please suggest me some reach, accessible and easy schools for me!!
Thank you!!!
