I was also expecting the same answer from your side. Infact was looking for one more push to re-take the GMAT.
So no more school hunting as of now for the next one month.Decided on retaking GMAT next month end..

See you next month end with a 710+

A more determined Roop..

Hi john,

Hope u r doing good.
Retook my GMAT on 19th this month. And yes your push helped.
Its a 720(q 48 v 38) this time and am really happy and satisfied.
Now to get down to the business end of the journey, i have shortlisted the following schools.
One of the primary factor in choosing these schools has been the availability of non-cosigner loans which is very essential for me.

DREAM
KELLOG
MIT
TUCK
YALE

FIT
DARDEN
FUQUA
JOHNSON
UCLA ANDERSON

SAFE
EMORY
KENAN FLAGER
ST OLIN
CRANFIELD

My request to you would be to evaluate my chances against these schools. Also feel free to add/delete any of these if you feel that they do not fit my candidature.
I am planning to apply in R2 so i have very little time in my hands.

Looking forward for your help and suggestions.

Regards
Roop

Hey Roop! Awesome! I am sooo happy to hear that!! Congrats.

So your auto-evaluation is on the ball. Probably MIT and Tuck will be the two toughest, but basically your categories are right. I don't know how many schools you will actually be able to apply to (It depends on you and how you work and how much time you have and your writing skills). The most impressive client I worked with did 10 or 11 applications in eight weeks while working full time!!!! But that's a bit nuts. Anyhow, my suggestion: Pick five to start with. One or two dream two to three competitive and one or two safe (okay that makes five to seven schools... :) but you know what I mean) and GET STARTED!!!!

Time's a wasting!
