Nationality : Israeli
Gmat: 640 (47 quant, 31 verb, 5.5 essays)
Toefl: 108
WE: Ex Army officer, started my own business of import, and now working in the Online Advertising industry as Account Manager.
WE time until matriculation: 6 years.
Education: BA in Economics and Business management.
GPA : 3.33

Applying R1: Wharton,Duke, Cornell, McCombs
R2: Rotman and Darden/UNC

If we suppose that my essays are strong and so are the recommendations. How are my chances :?: ?

GMAT is a huge handicap. You have a decent profile, but not enough to overcome a GMAT that is significantly lower than the average. Putting in strong applications is a given - I mean, there's going to be plenty of people who will be doing that, *and* they will have stronger GMATs and a decent profile.

You may want to hold off until R2 -- and do whatever it takes to boost that GMAT score on a retake. Ideally 700, and at a bare minimum a 680.
