Hi,

Thanks in advance for your insight.

Age: 26
GMAT: 710 (V50 Q35, waiting for AWA & IR)
Work Experience: 3yr part time, 4yr full time in Finance (current: FX Trader) & Entrepreneurship on the side (1 success and 1 failure, currently sit on BOD @ e-procurement startup)
Target: Columbia, NYU, Booth
Post MBA goal: Private Equity

This is where it gets interesting.
School: University of Toronto
Program: Honors, Economics Specialist
My GPA is 2.26 range, however, the class average was 2.35.

I did some research and found out that undergraduate averages are 3.30 - 3.50 in ivy league schools.

I understand that my GPA well below par, but given the 'well below par' class average, how does this translate to adcom' view? Do I have a shot?

You need to provide the class average in your application just as you provided it above. That's the only way you will have a chance. I wouldn't say it's a great chance, but it's a chance.

Best,
Linda
