Nationality - US (Chinese)
Age - 28
Gender - Male

GMAT - 750
UG - 2.8 from top 50 state university Worked full time in college

4 years working as an analyst for several companies. Including for top
Started own business two years ago.

Extracurricular - High school coach, Big Brother program, tutoring/mentoring high school students

Short Term Goal: Use business school to enter management consulting to gain exposure to various industries
Long term Goal: Start my own business

I am looking at schools in the top 15 that place graduates in consulting

Your school selections are likely good ones considering your background, but your GPA will need to be addressed. Hopefully it was from a really good school or a tough curriculum. At least you have the good GMAT score to balance it out. All good b-schools will be able to prepare you for a consulting job, so do your homework on which consulting firms you would like to target and see where they do most of their recruiting.
