Profile evaluation - MBA after MSFE [#permalink] New post 23 Apr 2013, 23:05
Hi,

Could you please let me know on what you think my chances would be at Harvard/Wharton/Stanford?

26, Female, India
Undergrad: Engineering degree from a top 10 school in India (GPA 9/10)
Post grad: MS in Financial Engineering from a top 10 school in USA (GPA: 3.5/4.0)
Work ex: 3 years in Private Equity in India after Masters
GMAT: 720

Would these schools require more work experience?

Thanks!

You have adequate work experience for the three schools listed. Just remember that these schools have very low acceptance rates and a lot more goes into your candidacy than just work experience. While you have a good record, you have to make sure that your application (essays, recommendation, resume, interview, etc.) are all up to standards. All of your fellow candidates will invest a large amount of time, energy and resources into their applications -- and you have to invest just s much to be competitive.

Good luck.
