Background: Female, Living with family in US for past 7 years, 31 years, Green card holder
Professional Exp: 5.5 years of experience in the IT industry.Career progression from an developer to quality analyst. US work experience, 4 years
Education: B.E from a good Indian university (It has been in top 15 in India) with a 8/10 GPA.
Extra Curricular: Womens basket ball team(won 2 TIES matches) - Played for college College team 3 years EEE - Member for 5 years, class leader during 2nd year Elected Class Women representative during first year EE - Member for 5 years National service committe member in college - Helped to clean rural areas to bring up hygeine level, Helped to prepare a one day meal for a small village, Helped to clean a temple Donated blood 6 times whne in college - twice to save lives
GMAT: 610 (Q46/V29)
Career Goals: I would like to become a business analyst and eventually a product manager, where I can use my analytical and logical skills
I understand this is an average profile, specially the gmat score. I do not want to leave my job to do MBA. I am planning to do part time MBA. I sent my scores to: University of Florida-part time program, FAU - part time, FIU - part time, UNC - part time
I live and work in south florida. Hence mostly florida schools. Also, I could not really find many other good schools which have week end MBA program. I have a 2 year old son. So practically, it would be best, if I can do my MBA in florida. My first and fore most choice is University of Florida, part time program in south FL.
can any one please advice, if I stand a good chance to get it there? Also, can any one please recommend other good school outside florida, with week end MBA, where I can try?
Appreciate your feed back. Thanks.

Appreciate your feed back. Thanks. I reviewed the admissions stats for the South Florida part-time programs you mention and you seem quite competitive there. Best, Linda

I've written thousands of words on the topic and even a book. You can find much of it my advice on Accepted.com about applying, but there you will find many, many short articles and tip pieces. If you want a coherent and comprehensive yet succinct approach to the application process including the essays, recommendations, and resume, please consider purchasing my book, MBA Admissions for Smarties. It's available at the site I just linked to as well as on Amazon and some book stores. It is in Kindle and paperback versions. Best, Linda
