Hello
I'd love to hear your thoughts:

28 year old Pakistani dude

GMAT: 720 - V42 (95%), Q47 (76%), AWA 5.0

Undergrad in Accounting from Penn State with Honors in Economics, GPA 3.84/4.00
Other: CPA and passed level 1 of CFA exam

Work history: 3.5 years as auditor for Big 4 firm in Washington DC. Currently Finance Manager at an international provider of security services in Dubai

Extras: organized and taught free english classes over the last year and half for low-income individuals in Dubai and also involved in other initiatives dedicated to improving living conditions for low paid immigrant workers

Post MBA goals: transition from historic-focused accounting to a more forward-focused role in investment management. Already have deep financial services knowledge from my days as an auditor and from CFA studies.

Thinking about Yale, Cornell, Duke, NYU and UVA. Also, can you let me know if my background puts me in a highly contested demographic pool?

Thanks!

Actually, Pakistan is far more underrepresented in bschools than India for size of pool considerations. You have a very strong profile, so I would say with a well crafted essay package, you should have a shot at your target schools. Let us know if we can help.
