There are no hard rules for GMAT, as it's just a portion of the equation, but in general, you need to be coming in at least within the 80% range for admitted students. This statistic is pretty easy to get for most schools. Of course it's even better if you have a score which is at or above the average score for admitted students. In your case, your GPA will be pretty significantly below the average for these schools, so the GMAT will go a long way in demonstrating aptitude and also putting the adcom's concerns to rest about your ability to handle the program.
