Hi there,
Thanks so much for your post! So it seems you have a few thoughts already but could benefit from a component by component evaluation. Let's get into it!
[Academics]
If you got a 6.3 from NIT-W then that's probably second honors so you did well enough at a strong school in a difficult major. Your GPA isn't fantastic but you know that. It's below the average Asian GMAT score for your demographic but you're being pretty realistic with your schools but we'll talk about that later.
[Experience]
Your work experience is a little above average but still pretty typical. What I REALLY like, however, is you can get recommendations from Swedes and that it's a subsidiary of HP. So you have blue chip covered too. You also have some other components such as global exposure, etc. but that's fairly typical.
[Involvement]
Your MUN stuff is amazing. The problem, however, is you haven't really had anything since university - or so it seems? Anything missing here?
[Schools]
The schools you've listed are good - especially Kelley and Scheller. Scheller has a lot of things you would find valuable as you make the transition. Outside of those two, pick the other 5 to diversify your risk.
I hope that helps and let me know if you have any questions!
Bhavik
Hi Bhavik
thnaks for the evaluation. I have 2 follow up queries about this:
1. You have stated that my GPA is good enough..
Will the ADCOMS think along the same line , like you did ? Do you think that it would be wise if I write an optional essay explaining the below average GPA.?
2. Do you think that my goal of becoming a product marketing manager of a B2B/B2C high tech company , look unachievable from the POV of ADCOM, as I am an Indian applicant ? Do you think the list of schools I provided accpet such a goal from an Indian?
thanks in advance.
