Hello,

Thanks for your inquiry. It sounds like you have a very solid background, set of scores, and professional experience.

Your scores are in line with schools that are ranked in the top 7-15, such as Fuqua and Tuck. I would consider some other schools in this range, such as Darden, UNC, and perhaps Yale.

Although Harvard and MIT would be considered “stretch” schools for your profile (and in fact for most profiles out there!) you would increase your chances significantly by crafting the right story in your application.

I would want to know more about your career trajectory so far—have you had any major promotions or been given significant management responsibilities? I would also focus on fleshing out the leadership role that you’ve taken in your professional “extracurricular activities”

You will also want to get more specific about your career goals. Strategy / Management consulting is too broad and likely too short term. In your essays, you’ll want to get specific about the leadership role you want and the industry or area of business that you’re most interested in.

At MBA Prep School we work with clients like you to help them standout with their application strategy when applying to top tier schools where there is stiff competition when it comes to objective measures like scores and GPA. Let me know if you have any questions.

Best,
Krista
