Hello GMAT club,

Age: 25 (27 at Matriculation)
Gender: Male
Nationality: Indian (Singapore PR)
GMAT: Target 740+
Degrees: Bachelor of Business Management (Finance, Marketing) 3.57 GPA
University: Singapore University

Work Experience: Started a company straight out of university, but failed miserably. After that ,joined the corporate finance & strategy division of a Big 4 and was promoted twice within 1.25 year. Great exposure with international projects.

Why an MBA? Start a venture again after graduation with support/resources from the university and not make the same mistakes I made earlier.

Why now? Seems like I am confident and ready to start it with 2+ years of corporate experience. Long term aim is to enter public service after doing successful venture.

Extracurricular activities: Started the entrepreneurship society at university, managed the club for 2 years and won numerous accolades. Represented university in international case competition, debating competition. Awarded one of the most prestigious awards in university apart from others. Also, I am very involved in government committees (even though I am a non citizen) to work on certain policy issues. After graduating, started a non profit with a focus for africa/india which is doing good. Also, am a marathoner.

Applying to:

Harvard R1 (Great brand, leadership and entrepreneurship) + HKS MPA - Joint degree
Stanford R1 (My dream school, have attended classes there and I love the entrepreneurship culture)
Insead R1 (Again a short and very international school, with a strong preference for entrepreneurship among graduates)
Wharton R1 (Not yet sure, seems too finance for me)

So what do you guys think?
