I am not sure which colleges should I target based on aforementioned score and profile.

What I am looking for is post graduation in Finance from the best college within reach in accordance with my profile and GMAT score range. I am really interested in investments side and it would be really great if someone could help me with some relevant colleges.

The colleges I have in mind are: ISB, NUS, UCLA.
My dream colleges are : Chicago Booth, Columbia, Wharton. NYU - Stern is one college I would like to evaluate my chances for.

Please guide on some (both "worth taking a call" as well as "safe") colleges.

i would actually encourage you to try for your dream schools for two main reasons 1) your profile is strong overall and 2) you hail from an atypical background in regards to work experience for your applicant pool (International: Indian). when you apply from a large applicant pool, but with a typical b-school feeder background (finance/investments), you have an advantage. Let us know if we can help you hone your vision and prep your applications.

Thanks Bryant,

Would my work exp being 3 yrs at the time of matriculation not act as a major deterrant?

I am actually aiming for mba in financial instruments and markets from NYU-Stern. Would I be able to bridge the gap of inexp by certifications and familiarity of capital mkts that I have gained by personal trading ?

How strong a chance do I have for colleges like Stern, Columbia, Booth?

Working in the industry is a plus, and can compensate for what you are calling a lack of WE, but realize that most of the bulge bracket investment banks have a 2-3 year analyst program after which it's generally understood that these FAs jettison off to b-school. In other words, the b-schools expect to see folks "inside" the industry coming to them with 2-3 years of WE in this industry.
