hey,

i need an evaluation and recommendations about organizational studies Phd programs.

i'm 23 years old economics degree from Istanbul university (no.1 ranked in arwu - turkey), i haven't finish my undergrad, and push my gpa to 2.9 / 4.0 . worked as a research assistant for 2 years in IT and History departments. wrote (and hope published) an academic paper on organization design, new model of organization. i've 8.0/9.0 IELTS level and got 700~ on mock gmats.

i searched some of professors who are interested in same topics and try to write down a moderate list;

rutgers, pitt, penn state, vanderbilt, urbana, boston college.

sincerely,
M.

How about your letters of recommendation? Well-known profs? The gpa is going to hurt you, particularly at a few of the schools on your list. That said, if you can get a pub (or at least an "under review" or "R&R") on the paper you wrote prior to applying AND you can get some good letters, I think it's possible!

Good luck!

well i've moderate letters, not world wide ones but they're good at their areas. do you think that letters from different areas is better ? (just in academy, i don't want to get a letter from a cto. he doesn't appreciate my research skills well) and as i know the admissions have a knowledge about grading scale, it's hard to get things done both area.

and btw, how can i prove my article under review or r&r ?
