(UCLA, UM, UVA) 710 GMAT (Q50, V36) 1 year at Big 4 in corporate tax Currently 4th year as a financial analyst at a top private bank/wealth management (JPM, ML, MS) Extra Curricular: Heavy involvement in biz fraternity, generous amount of volunteer by mentoring under privileged h.s. students in innercity, non-profit work Goal: work for an institutional asset management firm that focuses on absolute return - in the form of a hedge fund/endowment/mutual fund
What are my chances at: CBS, UCLA, NYU, HBS, Wharton, Haas, Dartmouth, UVA, UM - in no particular order
Only HBS is a stretch for you. The other schools on your list, you should be competitive for, or even have good chances. As a Us citizen with good work experience, good grades, a solid GMAT, everything is in place. The main thing now is to highlight your work experience, showing how you are one of the best, and to provide a passionate and unique picture of yourself to the AdCom along with clear and logical goals (okay, I make it sound easy .... But it's a LOT of work!)
