Please find below my profile -

Age - 27 yrs

Work Exp :
- 4 years total exp. (5 yrs at the time of joining) with Infosys Technologies Ltd.
- Senior Software Engg working under Banking Domain(Finacle) in IT Industry
- 5 Months International experience in Jakarta.
- Leading a team of 4-5 people.

Academics :
X - 80.4%
XII - 79.2%
B Tech - 74.3%

GMAT : 700 50Q 34V 4.0AWA

Extracurricular :
- Working for an NGO - Teaching Children.
- Scholarship holder in B.Tech
- Basketball captain in College
- Won Volleyball tournament in Infosys
- Cleared basic level certification in Spanish Language
- Actively participated in various activities in Company & College
- Got few client appreciations
- Cleared certification in Financial Market : Beginner's module at National Stock Exchange

Recommendations :
Can arrange recommendation from both Infosys and Client

I am looking for an MBA in IT/Operations/SCM as an consultant.

Please help me in categorizing below mentioned US schools as - ambitious, reach and Safe.

Hello abhinav, thanks for your question.

I think your 700 GMAT score opens the door at every program you list, but it is your leadership experience that will get you into any program.

Your competitiveness will come down to the quality of your work experience. Can you draw upon “moments” when you truly led: influenced individuals and organizations, drove results, took initiative? If you can get that into your essays, you will be competitive.

In terms of extracurricular activities, what you’ve done more recently has more weight than what you did in university/school. I’d play up your work teaching children at the NGO in your essays.

I think spending some time to go through the rankings (e.g., US News & World Report, Business Week) will help you in categorizing your target programs.
