Okay sir, so overall I feel that you have a good basis to apply to the schools you want to (although I still have questions r.e. your leadership, volunteer work and extra currics, which can make a big difference here). Now, for a finance guy a 700, for someone coming from India is a bit borderline. There are gonna be lots of folks out there with amazing grades and you are from a highly represented industry, so you have the time, and I feel that if you have more potential to score on your GMAT, even if you really don't want to, a retake may be well worth your while. The other thing that will be important (super important actually) is to make yourself stand out. So far working at a big bank as a business analyst is a good profile to apply, but there will be lots of similar applications on their desks, so you gotta think: what is MY unique value proposition? Be it personal or professional or both.
Thanks a lot for taking time out and reviewing my profile. I will keep these pointers in mind while preparing the essays. I am also considering retaking Gmat to improve on my score. Could you also suggest some B schools that will be within reach keeping my profile and current gmat score in mind?
Well with your experience and numbers you can definitely apply to Top 10 programs. I would say a nice mix of some Top 10 and some top 20 programs would be a good strategy, so as you wrote: Stern,Ross, Tepper,ISB and NUS. You can also think of Columbia, Johnson, Anderson, Chicago, sloan. I think they all fit your profile pretty well, some are a bit harder to get into and some a bit easier.
And whatever you do, remember the first step is to BELIEVE!
