Hi, I am Balaji Ramaswami, an MBA aspirant. Kindly evaluate my profile-
Age- 26 Gmat Score- 720 Quant- 51 Verbal- 35 Profession- Merchant navy officer (sailor/seafarer) Graduate- Nautical Technology GPA- Obtained 76% while the topper obtained 85% Extra curricular- currently setting up a curriculum of computers in a society for disbled people. However as an additional activity, participated in Basketball, chess tournaments in school and college. Kindly advice which all colleges would be good for my profile. Am interested in INSEAD, Indian scool of Business, NUS, HBS, LBS. Pls advice.

Hi Linda,
I would like to get into the managerial positions in shipping industry or port management. An MBA would give me an insight into the methods of proper management, enabling me to become a good manager. Running an NGO in parallel is also a plan.

Thanks, Balaji Balaji, Thanks. You certainly have a chance at all your target schools, but HBS, INSEAD, and LBS are stretch programs just becasue of the competition. I also suggest you look in to Rotterdam School of Management given your interests and goals. Best, Linda
