I think the first thing you need to answer for yourself and, more importantly, for the Admissions Committees is:
"Why an MBA? and "Why Now?" What are your long-term career goals? With 10 years of experience and currently working as a management consultant at PWC, it needs to be clear why you want and need this MBA at this juncture of your career. Answering this questions will also help with the decision of what MBA programs would be suitable. However, in general I believe you would be competitive at the top-20 US MBA programs.
You also will want to dig deeper on leadership and initiative within your volunteer/extracurricular. It is quiet admirable that you adopted and fund a child, but beyond that what have you done to show initiative and lead outside of work. For that matter, at work, focus on where you have been a leader and an innovator, someone who leads change.
