Hello,

Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

Target Schools: Tuck, Kellogg, Booth, Fuqua, Ross, Darden

Education:
Undergraduate BBA from Emory University
3.2 GPA (I know this is low, but nothing I can do now)
Several good leadership and extracurricular

Experience (5+ years at matriculation):
1. 2 years at entrepreneurial tech firm. Promotion and employee of the year award. 50% delivering projects to client managers as a PM working with graphic designers and programmers at a fully owned office in India. 50% managing the operations of the business, working on strategy and developing products/marketing.

3. Working at Fortune 500 HR Consulting Firm with 2 promotions in <3 years
a. Consultant delivering technology based projects to large clients in restaurants, logistics and manufacturing
b. Promoted to do strategy & special projects for internal Finance
c. Promoted to manager in Global operations
Recognized as high performer (top 1%)

Reason for MBA now:
Already in a role where my peers are significantly older and want to accelerate development of leadership skills and further develop technical skills. Want to transition into more traditional management consulting and eventually start my own business (I recognize that this is a very typical story, so I am working on my approach).

Extracurricular:
Multiple boards for youth organizations in Jewish communicate; board of First Tee

Thank you!

Hi JBSimon,

Have you taken the GMAT? If yes, what is your score?
You have a nice profile there, but you will need to work harder on those career goals - both short term and long term- and have more clarity on what you can expect each of your target b-schools to give you.
