Please provide me a honest and realistic opinion of my acceptance at my dream and target schools. Also please provide suggestion on other schools that will be a fit to my profile & post MBA goals
You will most likely not get into Stanford full time program at your age and experience level. If I were you, I'd stick with Sloan one year program or Wharton MBA for Executives, which will value your leadership and international achievements more than the FT program will. Carnegie Melon would probably work for FT program. Make sure you articulate what has held you back from your goals and why it's taken you so long to figure out you needed the MBA. _________________

Thanks for your advise. In the interim I am getting a offer from a small company (250 M revenue part of a 6 Billion large conglomerate) to head business development for 3 industry vertical across NA (USA/Canada/Mexico). Currently I am working for a 100 Billion conglomerate and my employer does abour 15 Billion in annual revenue. How does this switch play out interms of my prospect for Sloan fellow. My driver to change job for next 1 year is to work for a small company where I can create a practice from scratch ( to get the real entrepreneurial experience compared to large company). Please suggest if it has any bearings to my Sloan Fellow prospect
If I were you, I'd look at EMBA programs at the top schools who provide them (Wharton, Chicago, Haas etc.) instead of trying to go for 2 year full time MBA now at your age. They will wonder how you are able to take two years out of your career at this stage and frankly questions your achievements if you assert you are able to do so. _________________
