Hello,
Hi
smm910629, Thanks for contacting us at StratusPrep! Let me give you some thoughts in blue below on what you provided:
Please go through my profile below.
-GMAT SCORE : 680 (Q48, V35)
So this is a tough score for your pool. Being female will help some, but if you can raise your score just a bit more to at least break 700 it could open up a lot more options.-NATIONALITY : INDIAN
-FEMALE, AGE 25
-WORK EX : 2.5 YEARS ( March 2014 - present)
That 2.5 yrs is on the light side for the highest tier programs. Could be enough if everything else is stellar. Which is not the case right now.Senior product design engineer at Tata Technologies. 2.3 years of work experience in E&D-Automotive - CAD designing and modelling of sheet metal parts and spot welding with 2 Jaguar Landrover projects.
Good work experience in engineering- but unfortunately in your pool this is not standout- but you can make it more compelling with the help of someone like us who know how to pull out the most interesting unique parts of your story.-ACADEMICS :
10th - 88%
12th - 88%
Degree : B.tech from NIT, Bhopal. CGPA - 8.15

I am planning to pursue an MBA in Operations Management in 2017. What are my chances of getting in major Ivy league B schools? Could you please suggest which schools I should apply to as per my profile? Do I need to give another GMAT attempt to get a score above 700 or shall I focus on my applications now with the current 680 score?
I'd suggest that you spend the next year working on GMAT, seeking out a high impact work project that can help differentiate you on work and also see if you can go deeper in one of your activities- like with music? something where you can demonstrate exceptional leadership- which right now I don't see. We offer profile development packages that can be just a few hours to help you prepare to tell a compelling story and this could really help set you apart. To get to an Ivy League MBA program I think you'd have to do this. For schools in 10-20 range I still think you might need this extra year but chances there are slightly better. Please contact us for a free consult at our StratusPrep website so we can share more about how we could help you! Thanks in advance!
Regards.
