Hi, thanks for your post.
So the GMAT is an unknown factor. And in your case, I think it's a very important one, since your grades are below average. So keep practicing and practicing and aim for something in the mid-700s and hopefully all that prep will pay off
Getting a high GMAT won't guarantee admission though - especially since you're applying from a very competitive demographic. But I do like that your work experience includes a mix of Marketing, Operations, and Entrepreneurship so that should make for some interesting stories. I'd encourage you to start thinking about what skills you'll need in Consulting, and which of these skills you already have that you can transfer. This will also help you to answer that very important question of why you need an MBA.
I'd also want to know more about your leadership experience, both professionally and in activities outside of work. This is an important factor for many schools. Your passion for music and involvement in NGOs is great, but if there are ways you can take on leadership roles that allow you to work / manage diverse teams, then that could give you a slight edge.
So it's difficult for me to advise on specific schools without some of these factors known, but Booth and INSEAD will likely be stretches. And the other schools you list seem like more reasonable targets. If you're looking for a global program, then perhaps check out the Financial Times rankings as they focus more on non-US programs. In the US, though, you may want to check out USC Marshall which I hear has really great hands-on international experiences. It would also be a safer option than Booth and INSEAD. For a discussion on other factors to consider, you can also read our free school selection guide (

Good luck to you and keep us posted if we can help!
