Hi there! Thanks for reaching out to us at
mbaMission.
Your work experience sounds very strong -- large company, top performer, high potential leader, have you been promoted in the five years? I would assume so. Your GPA is excellent too. Your volunteer work sounds good too, enough to show some involvement but doesn't sound like anything stellar that will set you apart from other applicants. Perhaps that's an area to improve / add more to, or maybe you have other interesting things going on that you just didn't mention
Your GMAT is high enough to show you're capable of handling the curriculum at a top program. But given the caliber of schools you're looking at, your GMAT is going to fall below average and not do anything to help the schools from a rankings perspective. Were you practicing higher than 700? Did you only take it once? If so I would definitely give it another shot. You've got plenty of time too if you're applying next year.
The fact that you're a US citizen should help your chances, but in general, every applicant should seek ways to stand out from the crowd.
Good luck!
