Your GMAT is solid. What does your GPA equate to in an American system?
I typically say that an applicant’s quants (GPA, GMAT) open the door, but it’s the experience that gets them admitted. Assuming your GPA is solid, your quants open the door at any program. So, in my mind, your competitiveness will come down to the quality of your leadership experience in and out of work. Can you draw upon “moments” when you truly led: influenced individuals and organizations, drove results, took initiative? You seem to have solid experience and have won awards; how will those translate into compelling essays that showcase your leadership? That will determine your chances.
Another factor is how business school plays into your career plan. In terms of your post-MBA goals, paint a picture that cohesively ties together your past, present, and future. Demonstrate to the admissions committees that your desired career path necessitates an MBA.
As you probably already are aware, you are part of a highly competitive demographic in the business school applicant pool. It all comes down to your essays, but I think the top tier schools may be a reach. It doesn’t mean you should not take a shot, but I think they could be tough.
