Hello Linda,
1: I am a senior research analyst handling equities and currencies research desk and look over a team of equity and currency traders/analysts. I have been in the field for 56 months. My first 24 months were only equities research as an associate after which i moved in portfolio management and finally into currencies. My job involves looking over a team of traders and maintaining a book of approximately USD 5-6 million including currencies trades and equities. I am also a regular faculty at a financial education firm where i take classes on capital markets core areas being equities and currencies.
2: GMAT score: 600
3: College info: Calcutta University, GPA 3.5, Year of graduation-2009
4: No significant extra curricular activities but participated in a few inter school quiz competitions and have the certificates
5: CFA Level 3 student
6: Target Program: NYU Stern, INSEAD, Darden, LBS, NUS
7: I plan to apply in R2 2013-2014
8: I want to become an entrepreneur post my MBA. I have dreams of opening my own financial services firm in India
I want your help on two points
1: I have a poor GMAT score so is it any use applying to the above mentioned schools with this score ? Will my profile be of any help ?
2: Should i delay my applications and apply with a higher score ?
Any help will be appreciated.

I strongly encourage you to
retake the GMAT and apply to these programs with a higher GMAT score.
