LT/ST Goals:
My professional objective is to make a career in Business strategy and planning. My short term career objective is to augment my leadership skills, gain expertise in business strategy and planning, global consulting, sales and marketing.

Weakness is that my undergrad is NOT from a TOP univ, Its an avg\above avg state univ. Although i have tried to get industry level certifications like PMP \other mgmt certifications, to mitigate this.

Perhaps a couple of reach schools too?

Best Regards

Hi there,

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like you have a solid profile with recognition, awards, progression, and international experience at HP, and have a clear view of what your goals are and how the MBA fits in. Your GMAT combined with your experiences likely sets you up well for schools ranked 10-25, approximately, according to the US News & World report rankings. So you could have a look at, for example, Ross, Fuqua, Darden, Tepper, Goizueta. If you have your heart set on a top 10 school you could always apply to one as a reach school too to give it a shot. ;) Here is some more reading about choosing your target programs: http://info.mbamission.com/Selecting-Yo ... ram-E-Book.

Wishing you the best in the process!
