I have worked with Procter and Gamble for 2 years as Operations manager and Project Manager. As of now I have shifted to Reckitt Benckiser as NPD manager( working for past 8 months ) and has annual pkg of 20+ lakhs / annum

I am interested in taking GMAT and getting in Ivy league B-schools like Harvard , Stanford , Yales etc and wish to get into Brand management . ( switch from supply chain )

My long term career goal is to become a CEO.

Please let me know the best universities i should target to fulfil my goals and also where post my mba I can get atleast double the current package .

Hello,

The functional switch you plan is huge. In your application you should present a strong case for why you are making this switch, clear understanding of brand management, and a concrete plan for making it happen, to have a credible application to most programs.

You don’t mention your GMAT or GPA, but the programs you mention would require high GMAT, high GPA, and stellar work record (high performance compared to accomplished peers), as well as credible and engaging goals (i.e., not just what, but why).

When you think about Ivies, don’t forget Cornell; it’s a great program and might be a very good fit, with its strong experiential component particularly helpful for a career changer.

You will have to check the salary levels of your programs of interest, which should be available online.
