Hi,

Thanks a lot in advance for the evaluation.

Age : 26
Work Experience : 4 Years (will be 5,when i will join college). I have worked in India for 2 years and in US for 2 years for many big clients such as Agilent, Toshiba, MF Global, Apple
Industries Worked in : IT, Technical Consulting
Roles in chronological order : Developer(1 year), Onsite Coordinator & developer ( 6 months), Team Lead (2 years) ,Technical Consultant (6 Months)
Education : Bachelor in Computer Science with GPA of 7.0/10.
GMAT : 720 (Q:- 49 , V:- 40 , AWA:- 5.0)
Target Schools : ISB, MIT Sloan, Berkeley Hass, Emory,Darden,NUS,Carnegie Mellon
I want to go for Consulting after completing my MBA.

Active member of NGO- Joining hands, and teach Maths to lessfortunate kids. Involved in social awareness programs. Influenced some of my friends to join NGO and invest their time in social service.

Appreciations:-
Yougngest team member selected for onsite assignment.
Received a 5 star rating twice
Client apperciation mails
Ceritificate given by MD of the company for my contributions

I also have teaching experience. I used to give coaching classes while I was in school to meet my monthly expences.
I also managed my father's business for 2 years in the high school while he was sick.

Question: Do I have a chance to get into colleges I have listed above? Also if you could suggest me any other college.

Ankur,

Yes. With good essays, recs, and interviews, you have a chance at all your target programs, although I would say that MITand Haas are less likely acceptances, but you probably already know that. You may also want to consider Ross and Duke.

Hi Linda,

Thanks for the response. I forgot to mention that I have 1 year gap in my education. 1 year after graduating from school, I joined collged to do my bachelor's degree. Will this have any -ve impact on my application?
